Hi! I’m Ayush Goyal, a Senior Software Engineer at Grafana Labs and a builder at heart.
I’ve been writing code since I was 14, starting with rebooting operating systems and learning C in school, and I’ve never really stopped. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work on things that matter: I was an early employee at Rippling, building infrastructure when it was still finding its shape. I then served as CTO of Anveshan, a food-tech startup, where I built the entire technology stack from the ground up. After that, I joined Postman, where I worked on developer tooling used by millions.
I graduated from IIT Kharagpur in 2019, and am currently pursuing a part-time Master’s in Computer Science at Georgia Tech because curiosity doesn’t have an off switch. Back at IIT Kgp, I co-founded the Kharagpur Open Source Society and was a Google Summer of Code student with OpenMRS. These experiences cemented my love for open source and building in public.
These days, I’m having a lot of fun exploring AI agents and what’s possible when you give them the right tools. When I’m not at a keyboard, you’ll find me obsessing over a perfect cup of coffee, diving (PADI Advanced Open Water certified), or hunting for coins to add to my collection of 400+.
